Dean Beck Falls

Dean Beck Falls

5 miles to the West of Keighley is the little know falls of Dean Beck. This beck is fed by the nearby Keighley Moor Reservoir, so when water levels are low it may be just a trickle. Fortunately when I visited there had been plenty of rain.

At the meeting of Whitehill Road and Slippery Ford Lane (Postcode BD22 0QE) there is a small car park and access to the reservoir. Park here and cross the road proceeding up the lane for 25 meters. There is a gate on the right which gives access to the field. However as it is private land, permission may be required. The waterfall can be seen tumbling down under the road.
